Scarlet Lake Screensaver displays a beautiful landscape with a tranquil lake in the middle of a forest near the mountains. The lake has huge rocks in it, there's snow in some places, and there are lots of pine trees. The mountains have a strange gold color, which may be caused by the position of the sun, which appears to be setting. The sky also has a strange but nice combination of colors. The water of the lake has a bit of movement, which together with the pleasant sounds of water, makes the scene much more relaxing and realistic. Sadly, the screensaver doesn't include music and neither can you add your own.
The settings menu includes a viewer that allows you to view the image while configuring the settings. Moreover, if you check the "Autopreview" option, effects are added to the image, so you can see it exactly as in the screensaver. In this menu you also will be able to customize the image size and animation speed. If you want, you can also mute the sounds and add a transparent analog clock in any of the screen corners.
